Challenges into Opportunities
This year's topic focuses on the unprecedented transfer of wealth between emerging and developed nations and between generations, especially in the United States. Specifically, some of the topics will include: The growth and relative size of world economies, growing consumer base in emerging economies, the shift in commodity demand as well as political and economic power to emerging markets, as well as the shifting appetite for risk because of changing American demographics. We want to explore some of the implications of these changes for institutional and individual investors, especially for investment policy, asset allocation and selection of investments vehicles.
